Turunakana

Something that is typical from andean societies is communitary way of living. In this case, this ways are involved in blood and joy at the same time, celebrating abundance and life.

When a patronal celebration is running, normaly it last many days. The one in charge, called 'carguyoc', organize one special day to appeal for friendship and cooperation where friends and family come to support him bringing cows and bulls, that will feed the people during the celebrations.

While everyone dance and drink, some friends brings the animals, others laze them, others kill them putting a knife in the head in order to avoid their suffering and others cut them.
